The Mattress

  • How do I unpack my new mattress?

    Locate your Yaasa Studios opener.

We designed this to safely open the mattress without tearing into any materials.

Pull the rolled-up mattress out of the box.

Place the rolled-up mattress in a location where you’d like it to unroll and expand.

Using your Yassa Studios opener, start from one end of the plastic wrap, and carefully slide it across the plastic all the way to the other side.

    Remove the excess plastic wrap.

Be careful, your mattress will expand quickly!

If you haven’t already done so, place your mattress on your desired location.

  • How do I care for my mattress?

Spot clean your mattress as needed and let air dry completely. Do NOT machine wash OR dry clean!

  • How is Latex different from Memory Foam?

Latex is a 100% natural material, while memory foam is a synthetic material (although we do use plant-based polyols in our memory foam). Latex is breathable and tends to sleep cooler than memory foam. Latex is typically more responsive, or in other words, it has a “bouncy” feel. One way to picture the difference would be to compare the material behavior when placing a bowling ball on the surface of each. When the bowling ball is removed from latex, the indentation quickly disappears, while the indentation in memory foam will be slower to disappear. Latex is also less temperature sensitive than memory foam, meaning in cooler ambient temperatures, memory foam can feel firmer compared to its feel in warmer temperatures.

  • Why are there multiple layers of foam in memory foam and latex foam beds?

The base layer is the foundation. It offers overall structure for the mattress while also providing support for the comfort layers and the sleeper. The middle layer can contour to the sleeper’s body and relieve pressure (thus Suissly’s use of memory foam in the middle layer of all of our constructions). The upper layers provide a variation of support and comfort. The top layer offers the most obvious feel of the mattress and is crucial for how the mattress comfort is affected by temperature and heat.

  • What is the advantage of using pocketed coils in some of the mattresses?

Pocketed coils are designed for durability and comfort. Because the coils are individual, they provide support in all the right places, while transferring very little motion. This way, you won’t be disturbed by movement from a partner or pet like you would be with a traditional innerspring mattress.

  • What’s the difference between a foundation and a box spring?

A box spring is typically made of springs surrounded by a wooden frame then covered by a cloth “insulator” material. If you have purchased a traditional innerspring mattress, it would likely lay on top of the box spring. A foundation, however, is typically made with a nail-free design and heavy-duty boards that provide more support for a heavier memory foam or latex foam mattress. The foundation will make sure that your mattress is on a completely flat surface and is elevated to the proper level. Most importantly, a good bed foundation will aid in extending the life of your mattress. A foundation helps absorb the pressure and shock of your body weight and keeps the mattress in top condition for years longer.

  • What are the mattresses made of?

All of our mattresses are made from a combination of the finest variety of Polyeurothane foams, including viscoelastic foam (AKA Memory Foam) and flexible polyurethane foam, along with premium Latex foam and Pocket Coils (made from tempered steel). Our Polyurethane foams are made using plant based polyols to minimize our carbon footprint and are CertiPUR-US certified. Or latex is 100% natural and renewable. Each mattress model is unique and is formed using a variation of these materials. All mattress constructions include an engineered cover, made from a special blend of materials to create a comfy, breathable, cool sleep surface that wicks away moisture.

  • Where are your mattresses made?

All of our mattresses are made in Colorado, USA. We work closely with several US materials manufacturers and European experts to collaborate on enhancements to the overall sleep experience, improving the comfort and meeting our customers’ needs and feedback.

  • Why do new mattresses smell? Does my mattress need to be aired out before I use it?

Like a new car, you may experience the “new mattress” smell after you unpack your new Yaasa Studios mattress, but that will go away within a week or two.

  • Should I buy a firmer mattress if I have a bad back?

We encourage you to consult with your doctor before purchasing a mattress if you have a history of back problems. In general, we’d recommend a mattress that offers good support, and such support does not mean the hardest or firmest available. If you have any questions regarding firmness levels, our Customer Experience team is here to help!

  • Is a firmer mattress always better?

Not necessarily. A mattress that is too firm can cause the lower back to arch and create lower back pain. It is important to choose a mattress based on the level of support it provides for you. If a mattress is firm but lacking support, it can lead to shoulder and upper back pain or a restless night’s sleep full of tossing and turning. If you prefer a firmer mattress, latex foam may be a good option for you. Latex foam is a perfect combination of firmness and support.

  • Are the mattresses supportive without being too firm?

Your ideal mattress needs to be supportive but also have a good comfort layer (this is usually a separate pillow-top) so that it provides good pressure relief and is not too firm or too soft.  Even if you prefer a ‘firm’ mattress, the pressure relief component is important – a harmony of support and comfort. Our different models have a support and comfort range that would work wonderfully for almost anyone.

  • How do I know which mattress is right for me?

The right mattress is one that has a good support system suitable for your body frame and provides excellent pressure relief. Spring system technology has come a long way since the standard “innerspring”, and different combinations enhance the choice. Comfort layers comprise of foams, latex and gels, and an understanding of the benefits of each is helpful. Always allow plenty of time to try out mattresses, and a good understanding of your own needs can be as simple as evaluating your sleeping requirements and patterns.

  • What kinds of mattresses do you offer?

At Yaasa Studios, our mattress constructions cover a wide range of sleep technologies for support and comfort, including a variety of foams, latex, and pocket coils. Our customer Experience Team will take time to listen and understand your particular needs and desires, as well as address any health concerns you may have, and narrow down your selection to find the mattress best suited for you.

  • What are the differences between a King size and a Cal King size mattress?

The only difference between a King and Cal King mattress is the length and width.

A King size Yaasa Studios mattress measures 79.5″(l) X 75.5″(w) X 12″(h) whereas a Cal King Suissly mattress measures
    83.5″(l) X 71.5″(w) X 12″(h).

King size beds are wider and shorter than Cal Kings which are longer and more narrow.

Typically, King size mattresses tend to be more popular than Cal Kings but really, it comes down to personal preference. Whichever size bed fits your needs the best is the one you should go with!

If you would like to purchase a Cal King, please make sure to thoroughly check your measurements twice. We want to ensure that your new mattress properly fits your frame.

  • Are you certified by CertiPUR-US?

All foam within a Yaasa Studios mattress is certified by CertiPUR-US.

This ensures that our products are made without the use of:
    Harsh chemicals
    Ozone depleters
Mercury, lead and other heavy metals
PBDEs, TDCPP or TCEP (”Tris”) flame retardants
Phthalates regulated by the Consumer Product Safety Commission

Low VOC (Volatile Organic Compound) emissions for indoor air quality (less than 0.5 parts per million)

You can learn more about Certi-Pur-US here

  • Is your latex GOLS Certified?

The latex used in our mattress constructions is certified to the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS), a new certification available to mattress manufacturers. Control Union Certifications (CU), a globally recognized organic certifier, developed GOLS based on years of experience certifying organic products in other industries, including foods and textiles. This certification ensures that all materials and manufacturing processes adhere to strict and specific global organic standards.

You can learn more about GOLS here

  • What payment methods do you accept?

We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Discover cards. You can also choose to finance your purchase through FuturePay.

  • Do you offer financing?

Yaasa Studios has partnered with a service called FuturePay to allow customers to buy now and pay later. FuturePay charges a flat rate of $5 per month per $500 borrowed on the outstanding balance. For example, if your FuturePay credit amount is $1299, then you will pay a flat charge of $15 per month. Please note that this does not include principal.

    Some more details…

    FuturePay policy
The agreement to finance an order through FuturePay is between you and FuturePay and requires a small credit check to determine eligibility.  Learn more about FuturePay by checking out their full policy here.

How to place a FuturePay order
All you have to do at the time of check out is to click the financing option. This will take you through a small credit approval process, which is pretty darn quick. Please note that if you plan on paying through FuturePay that you must create the order yourself online. Suissly does not interfere or hold any customer credit data, therefore, the processing of the order is through FuturePay, but your order is fulfilled through Suissly directly.

    Splitting Payments
We are unable to split the total amount of your order between FuturePay and other payment types (e.g., credit card). To finance your order, the total amount would need to be handled in full by FuturePay. However, you can always split your order into two or more transactions. For example, if your FuturePay credit limit only allows for the price of a mattress, you can simply purchase the mattress through FuturePay. Then, make a separate transaction for your remaining items and use a different payment method to complete your order.

  • Can I split payments with FuturePay Financing?

We are unable to split the total amount of your order between FuturePay and other payment types (e.g., credit card). To finance your order, the total amount would need to be handled in full by FuturePay. However, you can always split your order into two or more transactions. For example, if your FuturePay credit limit only allows for the price of  a mattress, you can simply purchase the mattress through FuturePay. Then, make a separate transaction for your remaining items and use a different payment method to complete your order.

  • Is it safe to enter my personal information on your website?

Yes, is a secure site. All information is secure and our site is monitored by Hackersafe. See our privacy policy for more detail.

  • What kind of warranty do you offer?

We offer a 10-year warranty that covers workmanship, which includes all materials and construction on our end. However, we do not cover accidents, spills or other cosmetic issues not caused by our assembly and/or shipping process. Please reference our full warranty here.

  • What is the best way to protect my new mattress?

A mattress protector, which can include waterproof mattress pads, is the easiest way to protect the warranty on your mattress. Should a problem arise, the mattress must be free of stains in order to qualify for a warranty exchange. Aside from keeping it free of stains, many mattress protectors have the ability to keep dust mites out of your new mattress and away from your skin. If you’re unsure of which mattress pad to purchase for your new Suissly bed, contact our Customer Service Experience team and we can help guide you.

  • How long will my mattress last, and when should I replace it?

It really depends on the materials within the mattress. A traditional innerspring mattress will usually last from 5-7 years. Our Yaasa Studios mattresses are guaranteed for 10 years with a limited warranty. Reference our warranty here. Its best to replace a mattress when sleep quality has degraded a noticeable amount. Mattresses in low-traffic areas will last longer than ones in master bedrooms or kids’ rooms. If you purchase a Yaasa Studios mattress, we can arrange to have your old mattress properly disposed of for you.

  • Can I exchange my mattress for a different one?

If you would like to exchange your mattress model for a different one, we would be happy to assist you in the process. Also, please be aware that there is a limit of one mattress exchange per customer.

  • What is the return policy?

Return Policy: Our goal is to make the process of a return as easy as possible; however, mitigating returns begins with better consumer education at the time the order is placed and ensuring each customer is paired with their perfect mattress.

Returns: We ask that you take advantage of the trial period. Sleep on the mattress for a minimum of 30 nights to allow your body to properly adjust to it.

We think you’ll love your new Yaasa Studios mattress, but if you don’t, you have up to 100 days to return or exchange it.

Our Customer Experience representatives will work with you to arrange a complimentary pick up of the mattress, where we will donate or recycle it.

Please note that in order for us to donate your mattress, you MUST keep any/all law tags attached. If they are not attached, we will have to recycle them (donations will not be accepted).

    See our full policy here.

  • What shipping carrier do you use?

At Yaasa Studios, products are shipped using FedEX Ground and OnTrac, free of charge.

  • How long can I keep my mattress packaged in the box?

We have a feeling you’ll be so excited to receive your new mattress that you just won’t be able to wait to open it! But, if you do need to wait, we ask that you remove it from the packaging within 30 days. Waiting longer than 30 days could potentially void your warranty and compromise the integrity of the product.

We make all attempts to ship orders as quickly as possible and the sooner you let us know, the sooner we can catch your order from shipping. If for any reason we are unable to catch your order from shipping, we advise that you reject or “bounce” your order upon arrival. This way, it will come right back to us.

  • How soon can I have my Yaasa Studios mattress delivered?

Our normal lead time on mattress orders is 5-7 business days. However, in high-demand circumstances, lead times can take up to 12 days, depending upon location. If you’re in need of a mattress in a hurry, please reach out to our Customer Experience team for a more specific estimate.

  • Can I place my order on hold?

We understand that there can be situations where you might need to put your order on hold. Whether you’re out of town or have something come up last minute, we try to be flexible and understanding. If you need to place your order on hold, please call our Customer Experience team at (855)622-3711 to place the initial order so we can be sure that your order is held until the desired ship date.

  • Will the mattress help improve my sleep quality?

It’s important that your mattress is supportive and comfortable in order to achieve a great night’s sleep. Since we offer 4 versatile models of the Yaasa Studios mattress, we really believe that we have a mattress that would allow just about anyone to have a great quality of sleep!

  • Why should I purchase my mattress online?

With any big purchase, we feel that the buying process should be as simple and straightforward as possible. We understand that it’s a big decision, however, with our knowledgeable team of Customer Experience agents, we truly believe we can help you find just what you’re looking for. • Will my current base or frame be okay or do I need to purchase a new one?

The Infinity Blanket

  • What is Celliant?

Celliant® is a revolutionary, patented technology that, through the use of fibers, converts the body’s natural energy (heat) into infrared (IR) light and emits it into the body’s tissue and muscles. The result is a responsive textile clinically proven to benefit the human body, utilizing a blend of minerals and proprietary ingredients embedded into the fiber’s core.

  • How does Celliant work?

Celliant technology is a blend of proprietary ingredients that recycles heat leaving the body into infrared light (IR) and emits it back to the body where it is absorbed by the tissue and muscles. IR waves are beneficial as they penetrate deep into the tissue. This energy causes the body to increase circulation and heighten oxygen levels wherever it is applied.

  • What is Celliant made from?

Celliant is a unique blend of 13 thermo-reactive minerals including titanium dioxide, silicon dioxide and aluminum oxide. Additional proprietary ingredients are blended with polyester fiber to create a variety of staple fibers, spun and filament yarns, and fabric blends.

  • Will I feel Celliant working?

While you will not necessarily be able to perceive or feel an increase in circulation, oxygenation or blood flow, clinical testing has measured an increase in skin oxygen levels (TCPO2) and consistently recorded significant improvements across a wide spectrum of test subjects. Consumers who try Celliant often experience increased comfort and an overall improved sense of health.

  • Does Celliant have to touch my skin for a heightened effect?

Products enhanced with Celliant technology can be covered or layered without losing effectiveness. Clothing, sheets, and laminated or waterproof fabrics do not hinder the efficacy of Celliant to recycle energy to the body. The body’s electromagnetic emissions travel through clothing, wood, glass and even concrete. The energy your body emits is the same that’s seen in technology used by the military to view humans inside buildings.

  • Will my skin temperature increase if I’m reusing my body’s energy?

No, by re-emitting energy back into the body, the process acts as a thermal regulator to help balance body temperature. When circulation is increased, the body is able to either warm up or cool down, depending on the external environment, more easily through convection.

  • Will the Celliant lose its effectiveness over time?

No, the Celliant will hold its strength over time (i.e., it will not wash out).

  • Will Celliant ever become self-aware?

More testing is needed, but we consider it highly unlikely.

  • How do I care for The Infinity Blanket?

Wash cold and tumble dry low

  • What are The Infinity Blanket dimensions?

    60 x 80 inches

  • How much does The Infinity Blanket weigh?

    2.25 pounds

  • What is The Infinity Blanket made of?

The blanket is a blend of 72% Organic Cotton and 28% Celliant Polyester.

  • Where is The Infinity Blanket made?

The blanket is imported from Germany and is made from organic and recycled materials.

  • Where do you source your materials from?

The Organic Cotton (GOTS certified) yarn is sourced from multiple places in Europe, and the Celliant yarn is made in Spain.

  • What type of stitching is along the edge?

The outer edge is lined with a whip stitch.

  • How is The Infinity Blanket different than others?

Other materials will try and insulate heat, while still allowing it to escape. The Celliant fibers imbedded into The Infinity Blanket recycle your body’s heat in the form of infrared light. The infrared light opens your blood vessels, creating a vasodilation effect. This process expands your blood vessels, which increases your tissue oxygen levels. Higher oxygen levels equal more fuel for your body, aiding in recovering and pain management.

  • When is the best time to use The Infinity Blanket?

Any time – after a workout, a yoga session, long day of skiing or snowboarding, or even on a long plane flight. You can also use it at your office desk if your colleagues like to crank up the AC. Your options are endless here. Snuggle up!

  • Can I use The Infinity Blanket outdoors?

It is best to use the blanket indoors, but if you would like to use it outside, be mindful of where you place it.

  • Is The Infinity Blanket water resistant?

The blend we chose consists of organic cotton and, as such, is not water resistant.

  • Does The Infinity Blanket retain heat?

Yes, in fact the blanket recycles your body’s natural energy (heat) into infrared light keeping you comfortably warm.

  • Will there be multiple color and size options?

Currently this is the only color and size option, however if this campaign is successful, we are planning to introduce new colors and sizes.

  • How is your blanket considered eco-friendy?

Within each blanket, approximately 12 plastic water bottles are used in the making of the Celliant fibers.
