 MATTRESS LIMITED WARRANTY AND CARE INSTRUCTIONS 

MATTRESS LIMITED WARRANTY

Warranty Coverage. Yaasa Studios, Inc. (“we” or “us”) extends this mattress Limited Warranty to the original consumer purchaser (the “Original Purchaser” or “you”) of a new Yaasa Studios mattress (the “Mattress”) from us or an authorized dealer.

This Mattress Limited Warranty applies only if the purchase is made from us or an authorized dealer with the intent to use the Mattress for personal consumer use and not for commercial or industrial use and not with the intent to resell the Mattress. The Mattress Limited Warranty is limited to the Original Purchaser and is non-transferable.

WARRANTY PERIOD. The Mattress Limited Warranty will be effective from the date of purchase and will continue for a period of ten (10) years (“Mattress Warranty Period”). Any Mattress Limited Warranty claims must be made within thirty (30) days after the Original Purchaser is aware of the alleged non-conformity and, in any event, within the applicable Mattress Warranty Period. Any claims after such period will be barred AND INVALID.

 

MATTRESS LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE.

We warrant that the Mattress sold to you will be free from material defects in material and workmanship during the Mattress Warranty Period; provided the Mattress is used and cared for in accordance with the requirements of this Mattress Limited Warranty and our Use & Care Instructions, located at https://yaasastudios.com/faqs/

 

Without limiting the foregoing, this Mattress Limited Warranty covers the following items during normal use:

1.  Coils or foam inserts that are loose or broken, or that protrude or rip through the Mattress fabric.

2.  Visible body impressions greater than 1.5 inches (measured at the center of the Mattress, not on or near a stitch line) that are not associated with an indentation or sag resulting from or caused by the use of an improper or unsupportive foundation or bed base.

3.  Sagging that is not associated with the use of an improper support system.

 

Exclusions. The Mattress Limited Warranty does not cover the following:

1.  Destruction or removal of the Mattress’s inner fire barrier.

2.  Damage associated with an improper or inadequate foundation, bed frame and/or support system.

3.  Normal contouring of the Mattress due to normal use, temperature, or humidity.

4.  Comfort/Firmness preference beyond the 100 Night Trial period.

5.  Physical abuse or damage to the Mattress, including, without limitation, damage caused by burns, cuts, tears, liquid, stains, bodily fluids, or soil marks.

6.  Damage to the Mattress associated with: (i) delivery; (ii) normal wear and tear; (iii) use under circumstances exceeding our specifications or limitations or contrary to any instructions or information contained in our installation or maintenance manuals (as supplemented by us from time to time); (iv) failure to provide proper maintenance; (v) improper storage, handling, use, or cleaning, including without limitation, storage of the Mattress on its side or carrying the Mattress by its handles; or (vi) the Original Purchaser’s failure within fourteen (14) days of delivery to completely remove the Mattress from the packaging and allow the Mattress to decompress and fully expand after shipping.

7.  Zippers.

8.  Minor imperfections or variations, including, without limitation, loose threads.

 

How to Receive Service. To receive service under the terms of this Mattress Limited Warranty, please contact one of our Customer Experience Representatives at (855) 622-3711 between the hours of 8 AM to 5 PM Pacific Time, Monday through Friday or send us an email at info@yaasastudios.com with a copy of your original receipt for your purchase showing the order number, date of purchase, the price you paid, the description of the Product you purchased, and a description, including pictures if available, for the basis for your claim.

If our Customer Experience Representative cannot solve the problem over the phone, the Original Purchaser may be directed to remove and ship, both at the Original Purchaser’s risk and expense, the Mattress to us for our inspection, in which case the Original Purchaser will be provided with shipping information, packaging instructions and a return merchandise authorization number. DO NOT SHIP THE MATTRESS TO US UNTIL WE ISSUE A RETURN AUTHORIZATION.

What WE will do. As the Original Purchaser’s sole and exclusive remedy for any Mattress which we find to be non-conforming and covered by the Mattress Limited Warranty, we will, at our sole discretion, either (a) repair the Mattress or (b) provide a replacement Mattress at no charge and ship the repaired or replaced Mattress to the Original Purchaser. We reserve the right to discontinue or make changes to any Mattress without notice. If any Mattress is not available for whatever reason, we also reserve the right to provide a replacement mattress of comparable quality and price.

Repairs or exchanges performed under thIS MATTRESS Limited Warranty do not extend the MATTRESS Warranty Period. If we determine that any Mattress is not covered by the Mattress Limited Warranty, the Original Purchaser will be given a price quote for the repair and return of the Mattress.

 

Limitations.

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR THE MATTRESS, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ARE LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE RESPECTIVE MATTRESS LIMITED WARRANTY PERIOD SET FORTH ABOVE, AND NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES WILL EXIST OR APPLY AFTER SUCH PERIOD FOR THE MATTRESS. Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL WE BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL, INCIDENTAL, INDIRECT, PUNITIVE OR SPECIAL DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOST PROFITS, ARISING FROM OR RELATING TO THE USE OF, DEFECT IN, INABILITY TO USE, OR PROPERTY DAMAGE CAUSED BY THE PRODUCT, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF THOSE DAMAGES. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR LIABILITY, WHETHER IN CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY OR OTHERWISE, EVER EXCEED THE PURCHASE PRICE OF THE MATTRESS AT ISSUE.

This Mattress Limited Warranty is the only warranty we provide. No dealer, distributor, sales representative, employee or other person is authorized to offer or establish additional warranties or remedies or to expand or otherwise modify this Mattress Limited Warranty.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

 

MATTRESS USE & CARE INSTRUCTIONS

Mattress Use

  1. – Use a mattress protector to protect your Mattress and preserve your rights under our Mattress Limited Warranty.
  2. – Clean spills or stains immediately with one of our approved Mattress cleaners and sanitizers.
  3. – If you use your Mattress with a foundation, make sure that it is the appropriate size and has center support legs (5 legs for a Queen-size mattress, 6 legs for a King- or California-King-size Mattress). An old or inferior foundation may not provide sufficient support and may result in damage to your Mattress which would void your Mattress Limited Warranty.
  4. – If you are using your Mattress without a foundation (e.g. with a platform bed), add a solid platform on top of any open slatted mattress support system in which the spaces between the slats are greater than 2 inches (5 centimeters). Hardboard, plywood, particle board or a similar material inserted between the Mattress and the slatted platform, supporting the entire surface of the Mattress will provide appropriate support. Use of an open slatted mattress support system in which the spaces between the slats are greater than 2 inches (5 centimeters), without the addition of a solid platform, can damage your Mattress and will void your Mattress Limited Warranty.
  5. – The white law label attached to your Mattress serves as a means of identification to establish your warranty rights and should not be removed. If you choose to remove the white law label, keep it in a safe place.

 

MATTRESS ADJUSTMENT

  1. – You may initially experience some minor discomfort or backaches as your body adjusts to sleeping on a new Mattress. This adjustment period is typical as your body realigns into a more proper sleeping posture.
  2. – You may experience a “new product” smell, similar to a new car. This smell usually disappears after a few weeks usage of the Mattress.
  3. – The materials in your Mattress are designed to conform to the shape of your body. Shallow body imprints (less than 1.5 inches) may begin to appear in your Mattress over time. This so-called “nesting” effect is normal and is not covered by the Mattress Limited Warranty. Rotate your Mattress every 2 to 4 months to help the Mattress wear evenly, minimize the nesting effect and maximize the comfort-life of your Mattress.
  4. – If you purchased a king size Mattress, it is common through time to notice a small ridge down the center of the bed, as you do not typically sleep in the center of the bed, and there is less wear in that area. This occurrence is not covered by the Mattress Limited Warranty.
  5. – Any squeaks or noises you may hear typically come from your bed’s frame, headboard and/or footboard, and not from the Mattress. Please consult the use and care instructions for your bed’s frame, headboard and/or footboard right away.

 

Mattress Care

  1. – For the removable cover, use only a professional dry cleaning service to clean the top portion. Do not machine wash the top portion. Do not remove, dry clean or wash the bottom/border cover or the inner Mattress cover.
  2. – The inner cover of the Mattress is a fire barrier. Breach or removal of this inner cover will void your Mattress Limited Warranty.
  3. – Do not smoke in bed or use open flames (e.g. candles, lighters, matches) on or near your bed or Mattress. Although your Mattress meets the requirements of the Federal Flammability Standard, 16 CFR 1633, when it is used alone or with the foundation(s) specified on the 16 CFR 1633 law tag attached to your Mattress, it is not fire-proof. In addition, sheets, blankets and other bedding can ignite and burn rapidly when exposed to open flames.
  4. – If you find any loose threads on your Mattress carefully snip each thread with a pair of scissors. Do not pull any loose threads.

 

MATTRESS MOVING, STORING AND UNPACKING

  1. – If you need to move your Mattress, carton or bag it and carry it on its side to avoid damage.
  2. – When storing your Mattress, lay the Mattress flat—not on its side or folded.
  3. – Dragging, bending or otherwise forcing your Mattress can cause damage and void the Mattress Limited Warranty. The handles on your mattress are provided to assist in positioning the Mattress on the foundation. Using the handles to carry the Mattress may tear the fabric and void the Mattress Limited Warranty.
  4. – Avoid storing your Mattress in wet or damp environments to prevent damage. Mattresses exposed to prolonged moisture will void the Mattress Limited Warranty. This includes Mattresses still in their packaging.
  5. – Roll-packed mattresses must be completely opened and removed from the packaging within (14) days of delivery to allow the Mattress to decompress and fully expand after shipping. Failure to do so will void the Mattress Limited Warranty.

INFINITY BLANKET LIMITED WARRANTY

Warranty Coverage. Yaasa Studios, Inc. (“we” or “us”) extends this Infinity Blanket Limited Warranty to the original consumer purchaser (the “Original Purchaser” or “you”) of a Yaasa Studios Infinity Blanket (the “Blanket”) from us or an authorized dealer.

This Infinity Blanket Limited Warranty applies only if the purchase is made from us or an authorized dealer with the intent to use the Blanket for personal consumer use and not for commercial or industrial use and not with the intent to resell the Blanket. The Infinity Blanket Limited Warranty is limited to the Original Purchaser and is non-transferable.

WARRANTY PERIOD. The Infinity Blanket Limited Warranty will be effective from the date of purchase and will continue for a period of one (1) year (“Blanket Warranty Period”). Any Infinity Blanket Limited Warranty claims must be made within thirty (30) days after the Original Purchaser is aware of the alleged non-conformity and, in any event, within the applicable Infinity Blanket Warranty Period. Any claims after such period will be barred AND INVALID.

 

INFINITY BLANKET LIMITED WARRANTY COVERAGE.

We warrant that the Blanket sold to you in its original packaging will be free from material defects in material and workmanship during the Blanket Warranty Period; provided the Blanket is used and cared for in accordance with the requirements of this Infinity Blanket Limited Warranty and our Use & Care Instructions, located at https://yaasastudios.com/faqs/

 

Exclusions. The Infinity Blanket Limited Warranty does not cover the following:

  1. 1. Physical abuse or damage to the Blanket, including, without limitation, damage caused by burns, cuts, tears, liquids, stains, bodily fluids or soil marks.
  2. 2. Comfort preference.
  3. 3. Damage to the Blanket associated with: (i) delivery; (ii) normal wear and tear; (iii) use under circumstances exceeding our specifications or limitations or contrary to any instructions or information contained in our manuals or literature (as supplemented by us from time to time); (iv) failure to provide proper care and maintenance; or (v) improper storage, cleaning, handling, or use.
  4. 4. Minor imperfections or variations, including, without limitation, loose threads, uneven stitching and minor color variations.

Repairs or exchanges performed under this INFINITY BLANKET Limited Warranty do not extend the BLANKET Warranty Period. If we determine that any Blanket is not covered by the Infinity Blanket Limited Warranty, the Original Purchaser will be given a price quote for the repair and return of the Blanket.

Control Union Certifications (CU), a globally recognized organic certifier, developed GOLS based on years of experience certifying organic products in other industries, including foods and textiles. This certification ensures that all materials and manufacturing processes adhere to strict and specific global organic standards.
